How to Teach Children to Pray

Bobette has been an educator in both public and Lutheran schools for 37 years. During these years, she has taught all ages and has been in school administrative positions in three Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregations. Currently, she directs all of the children’s activities at St. John Lutheran Church and, as part of this position, directs the Preschool of 175 children.

Bobette has been privileged to serve on the Early Childhood Council for the Texas District of the LCMS and has contributed to both state and national conferences, serving as a conference planner and presenter. She was one of several contributors to a publication entitled “CHILDREN ARE MEMBERS”, offered through the LCMS Department of Child Ministry.

Children are shakers and movers in every congregation, but are often overlooked as a vibrant part of the work force for the Lord. It is Bobette’s passion to put children to work for the Lord and to encourage them to use the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through them to give God glory and serve others.

Bobette has been married to her husband, Jim, for 42 years and they have been blessed with two grown children and 6 grandchildren.
